Breast Cancer Survivor Support Group

The Breast Cancer Survivor Support Group has been at Essentia Health St. Joseph’s Medical Center for over 24 years and is supported by the American Cancer Society, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the St. Joseph’s Volunteer Services, the St. Joseph’s Foundation and currently the Pat Hassett Fund through the St. Joseph’s Foundation.

The Breast Cancer Support group includes women of all stages of survivorship because someone is a survivor from the moment of diagnosis for as long as they live. The group engages in monthly meetings with speakers from the various areas that a breast cancer patient may encounter during their treatment course and encourages women to be a part of their treatment team. There is no charge to attend the meeting.
